Methodology

Every number on this site is computed from fields you can see on the clinic's page. Nothing is estimated, and no clinic pays to be listed, ranked or scored.

Each clinic's own website, in Korean, including event and promotion pages, expanded menus, pagination and landing pages. We record the lowest publicly listed price for each item (list or event), the VAT treatment stated, the source URL and the date checked. Prices shown only as images are transcribed from the image and marked "image-read". Metadata prices (JSON-LD, OpenGraph) are never used because they frequently show list rather than selling prices.

All comparisons are ex-VAT. Clinics stating "VAT included" are converted (÷1.1). Clinics that do not state VAT are treated as ex-VAT, the Gangnam norm, and flagged.

Matching rules: the inclusion pattern is applied to category and item name; exclusion patterns (combos, multi-session packs, body areas, director-designated prices) only to the item name. The clinic's lowest match is used, counting only prices any visitor can pay: regular and monthly events count; first-visit-only, trial and new-customer prices are excluded because a visitor gets them once at most, and legally posted fee ranges are excluded because they are not selling prices. Ultherapy Prime specifications accept only items named Prime: earlier-generation Ultherapy is a different device and is not compared with it. Conditional per-cc prices ("per cc when buying 2+") are converted ×2; shot, kJ and unit differences are never converted — the cell is left empty.

For each clinic with ≥5 anchors: geometric mean of (clinic price ÷ Seoul median for that anchor) × 100. The Seoul median is computed across all clinics on this site listing the anchor. 100 = median; 80 = 20% below.

Six axes built from 17 facts. Quality = weighted average of the axes, using only facts we verified. Verified = weighted share of the 17 facts we could confirm. Score = Quality × (0.6 + 0.4 × Verified): fully verified clinics keep their quality score, and a clinic loses up to 40% for facts we could not confirm, so missing information lowers the score without being treated as a zero. Every input is a field shown on the clinic page; a field we have not confirmed counts as not verified until the clinic or a reader confirms it (see corrections).

Separate from quality. Share of required fields filled (address, station, hours, languages, VAT, website, price source, checked date, licence date, coordinates, price list, confirmed hours). Clinics under 70% are shown but excluded from rankings and procedure pages.

Listing, ranking and scoring are free and cannot be bought. There is no sponsored placement, and clinics have no say in how they are scored.

Price lists are re-checked weekly by diffing each clinic's site against the previous capture; only changes are applied. Each page shows the date its prices were checked. The build date is 2026-10-26.
